Where We Came From
Pitter Pat Productions is the brainchild of Danielle Heaton (nee Chamberlain) who founded the company with her fiancé (now husband) Chris Heaton in 2017.
Originally from the UK where she gained extensive experience working in theatre, Danielle relocated to Karratha in 2014. Although she loved Karratha, Danielle missed the experience of performing and working in theatre and identified a significant gap in the local performing arts space for community involvement. So Danielle set about creating a theatre company, the first in Karratha since the Walkington Theatre closed in 2011.
Pitter Pat Productions first ever show “Pilbara Pan” debuted at world class Red Earth Arts Precinct in July 2018, making history as the first entirely local theatrical performance at the facility. Written by first time writer Chris Heaton, this entirely original Pantomime was a sell out success and launched Pitter Pat Productions into the spotlight as Karratha’s premier theatre company.
